Rex Adds Chapter to Baseball Legacy
The Terre Haute Rex baseball team spent the winter months gathering the pieces it would need for a successful first season and beyond. The team, which will compete in the Prospect League, is owned by Sycamore Foundation Holdings, a non-profit subsidiary of the Indiana State University Foundation, in partnership with Rex Coffee, a brand of the Clabber Girl Corp.
Baseball Catches a New Coach
New Indiana State head baseball coach Rick Heller pledged that the Sycamores would “get after it” on the diamond and exhibit the right values off the field. “My program will be one in which academics are important and being a good citizen is important and one in which the players take ownership and are responsible,” Heller said.
